ABOUT JOURNAL

Public Administration and Society is a scientific reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Public Administration of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice and it countais the authentic scientific articles, discussion papers and reviews, the content of which is focused on the theory and practice of public administration.

The ambition of the scientific journal is the effort of the faculty to support the creation and development of the public administration science as an independent scientific discipline, to get into the academic and scientific area of other higher-education institutions in the Slovak Republic and abroad and to enable to spread the latest scientific knowledge for the practice in public administration.

Public Administration and Society is issued from 2000 in the printed version and from 2016 also in the electronic version biannually and it contains the scientific articles in Slovak, Czech and English language and each submitted article passes through the thorough double review procedure by the independent reviewers, while the reviewers must be from different institutions to the authors.
